We welcome Dot Porter, Curator of Digital Research Services in the Schoenberg Institute for Manuscript Studies at Penn Libraries, to the class for this session.

Present an intellectually coherent set of 3D models in class using Sketchfab. At least three. Make use of Sketchfab’s annotation function.

Class Outline
This class will fall in three parts:
First, we will reviewing the 3D work you have done for the week.
Second, we will have a discussion of the digital humanities in the current academic landscape, led by Dot Porter from UPenn. The aim is to gain greater perspective on the different ways in which DH is pursued at academic institutions today, as a way of helping us think about what sort of digital humanists we are or are becoming.
